My friend success takes some very smart work, you don't necessarily have to work hard, but you should map out how you want to reach your path to success and follow it to the letter. If your looking for a mentor then you need to find a mentor already creating successful entrepreneurs.

There's no secret about success. Did you ever know a successful man who didn't tell you about it?

Patrick, stop trying to wrap your head around numbers and listen to what the market is telling you. That includes your competitors. Numbers are a base point to start to do your niche research.

You could be in a market of 20,000 searches a month, lots of adwords competitors but 98% of the adwords competitors could be losing money because they don't know how to market.
Ultimately you have to test every market you enter.

As far as my recommendation, I test every market I enter because that's how the Affiliate Punisher system is designed. Its designed to give you everything you need to look at a niche and get traffic, and the bottom line is testing.

CPC doesn't determine keyword value its a one of the factors in the google adwords algorithm, and that's as far as that goes.

When it comes to domain names, yes I try and include the product name if I'm promoting a specific product as an affiliate and the vendor allows it. If the vendor doesn't or its against the TOS with the affiliate program, then I move on and get similar names for the domain.

So in the case of Porsche yes I would include it in the domain name.

You've got great questions, and I'm anxiously waiting to see how you take action

Peter,

I'm having a little trouble wrapping my head around some of these concepts. When you talk about narrowing our niches down, what numbers are we specifically targeting. For instance I have found several niches that have search of 200,000, over 3000 direct searches, CPC of around $3.00, plenty of books and products available, and heavy competition.

There are also other niches that have around 1000 searches, over 400,000 broad searches, CPC of over $2.00, and heavy advertiser competition of 10 plus.

Does this look like a market that you would enter? It seems like it could be entered and taken over, even though there's a lot of competition. Please advise.

Also, if a keyword has a very small search result, like under 1000, and very high CPC price, like $8, does that make it a good candidate to enter? Does CPC actually determine keyword value, or does it depend on other relative factors like search volume, competition, etc?

Another burning question I have. I have found several domain names available with very high broad type in traffic (over 400k), and around 2500 searches. But they have brand names included in them. Would you suggest using a brand name in a domain that is describing products that are associated with the brand name?

For instance, you came up was classic car covers for Porsche 911. If that was a domain name, would you have included the Porsche part? Please let me know your thoughts on this.

Thanks again,

Patrick
