Hey Luis thanks for the email, based on your experience you have more skill than you realize, and you should leverage it immediately. With your technical background you know more than millions out there that are starving for what you got.
Start to concentrate in your area of expertise by doing your research there, infiltrate the forums that are up your alley, start to look at the blogs as well, and find out what’s the biggest issue right now in your market and what your prospects are feeling. Contribute to the conversions by positioning yourself as an expert (which you are) and drop some great content.
while you do that, get yourself a domain name that’s targeted for what you do, setup a simple squeeze page with a special report (which you can write fast with all your years of experience) that answers some burning questions in your market. Give away the content for free by going back to the blog owner and sharing your special report.
Let the blog and forum owners promote your free report for you, (massive leverage) they will build your list.

These markets are heavily exploited on the web, you just got to know where to look and how to leverage them to make money. clickbank has some products in the marketplace in these areas and so does Amazon.com that people are making a small fortune with, not to mention other ecommerce marketplaces.
Your mindset is all off my friend, you got to stop thinking negatively and more outside the box.
