You’ve done one of the hardest things to do online and that’s create a product and try and market it, so good for you.
As far as the comic book if there is still buzz around that in the Asian market, you still can monetize that my friend, hope you still kept all the content, as content is key. But we can sit down and talk about that later.
as far as getting a keyword domain, its always a good idea to include some form of the keyword in your domain if your planning on going the seo route. its just makes sense to make sure it people friendly and not google friendly, as you can build around the domain to get google “love” to it. i.e. press releases, blog post, bookmarking strategies, so its all good.
remember google isn’t buying your product, people are, they watch stuff on tv, listen to stuff on the radio then go to the net to do their searching.
So the more friendly you can make your domain for your market and niche as that’s all that matters then the better off you are.
example: people are typing in “how do I get a better golf swing” domain that helps, bettergolfswings.com (might be available ironically coming up for renewal)
people are typing in “golf swing tips” domain: bettergolf-swing-tips.org look for a domain along those lines depending on your niche. and build around the domain
to attract search engines and people.
We’ll get into it throughout the course, so its not so much ranking unless your going after QS on paid search (ppc) but thats another animal.

Luis thanks for the questions, I see your in the support system as well. First thing you have to establish is what market do you want to penetrate? if your looking for some quick income you want to tap into a very hot market where people are actively buying products and services and use PPC to get where you want.
Don’t worry about competition, its your friend and will help you make money by leveraging it. But if your boot strapped for cash then here’s a method to get you there as well.
Example lets say you want to tap into the tech market, which is heavy in competition. You have experience in that market from what I’m reading, and its “real world” experience, not fluff or hype, you actually invested your money your time, and made money over your 25yrs. If that’s the case then you have talent that hundreds of millions are screaming for that don’t have.
Step 1.
First step is do your research into your expertise and find the forums, blogs. and communities online that are your target audience (you do this by typing in your keywords for what your skill set is)
Once you find the forums, blogs, communities and groups (which shouldn’t take you more than a day) get subscribed to them (just the ones that are important) you can find them by
using this tool here http://www.big-boards.com (free) and using google for your blogs and community groups and using http://technorati.com/blogs/directory (free) and using http://www.fastblogfinder.com (free and paid) find your market, drill down into your niche by looking for exactly what your expertise is and only join these groups and sites that fit what you do.
step 2.
Sit down and write a special report, or create a video, or record a podcast, based on your “real world” experience with your exact expertise. You can use a tool called camtasia (they have a free version and paid) do a google search for “free camtasia”. Whatever format your comfortable in presenting your material, do it. Don’t let technical stuff get in the way.
Go get a microphone and sit down by your computer and record into your computer (it doesn’t matter) just get something together its your expertise that’s important not the shiny bells and whistles (look at this blog as an example, lol)
step 3.
Join the groups, blogs, and start to monitor problems and issues that are current and hot in your niche that you have expertise in and know you can help with. Once you figure out what the hot conversations threads are and you know how to solve solutions march into the groups and start to deliver your content by contributing to the conversation, showing you have the expertise to help these people out by finding out how you can help them with their biggest burning questions.
Step 4. contact the owners of the blogs, forums, community groups and show them that your providing overwhelming value to their crowd and tell them you can develop a product or service to help out their crowd (or if you want to keep it simple) create a simple info product that will take you a day or so and offer it to the owner for free, all the owner has to do is send
their peeps to your squeeze page, which you can get anywhere online for free that will build it for you on autopilot (press a few buttons and its done)

step 7 cultivate the list and sell them other products and services.
